End of August, we had our this year summer team event, which took us to the Lahn valley. The highlight was a canoe tour on the Lahn. From the starting Point Villmar-Aumenau two or three boat partner rode to finish in Runkel. The four hours of paddling were easier than anticipated – maybe as the tour was downriver. The successful joint effort (no loss of men or material had to be reported) ended to a river-near Italian restaurant with a dinner accompanied by atmospheric music from a DJ.
