Friday, 28.02.2025 – The specialized real estate law firm Kucera has advised a professional pension fund from the Berlin area on the takeover of the commercial site on Behrens Ufer. The real estate development project on the BE-U | Behrens Ufer site in the southeast of Berlin was transferred to the master fund of the professional pension fund in the course of the takeover from the project developer DIEAG after scheduled activation. In the joint project between the occupational pension fund and DIEAG, building rights were created on the basis of an urban development contract agreed with the state and district administration, and the first anchor tenants were established. It was always planned that the master fund of the professional pension fund would take over 100 percent of the project at a certain point in time and DIEAG would hand over the operational management.
KUCERA partners Oliver Platt LL.M (UW Madison) and Andre Barth (Restructuring & Finance) were responsible together with Dr. Raphael Nordhues (Restructuring & Finance), Dustin Deißler (Real Estate), Finn Kalmus (Real Estate/Insolvency) and Nathalie Limberger (Real Estate). KUCERA partners Rolf Krauß and Isabel Tannenberg advised on tax law.
